Rick (Riker) Stearns is the founder of Anthony Riker. Rick has more than 20 years of experience in investment banking, working primarily with publicly traded companies. Before founding Anthony Riker, Mr. Stearns was a managing director at Lazard Freres & Co. where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions and debt restructurings. During his over 10 years at Lazard, Mr. Stearns worked on corporate mergers totaling $20 billion and debt restructuring totaling $15 billion. He has advised many well-known corporations, including 3M, Cargill, Corn Products, Lufthansa, Sara Lee, and Wrigley. Prior to Lazard, Mr. Stearns worked at William Blair & Company where he focused on mergers and acquisitions and public equity offerings for middle-market companies.

Mr. Stearns is a native of the Chicago area and is extremely involved with the local community. He serves on the board of the Children’s Memorial Hospital foundation and The Make a Wish Foundation of Illinois. He also is a member of The Economic Club of Chicago.
